THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Veteran NFL safety Eric Weddle announced his retirement on Thursday.
Weddle, 35, played for thirteen years. He had a person year remaining on a two-yr, $ten.five million contract that he signed with the Los Angeles Rams previous March.
Weddle acknowledged towards the finish of the Rams’ 9-seven year that he was considering retirement.

“He is played a lot, had a good job,” Rams coach Sean McVay reported immediately after the year. “I’m really grateful and I’ve uncovered a lot from him.”
A six-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro, Weddle finishes his job with 29 interceptions, together with 4 returned for touchdowns, eight pressured fumbles, seven fumble recoveries, 9.five sacks and 98 go deflections.
