ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — August Mahoney’s layup with two seconds left gave Ivy League chief Yale an eighty one-eighty double-extra time victory above Cornell on Friday night that also involved the very first triple-double in Bulldogs background by Jordan Bruner.
Bruner experienced 14 details, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for Yale, only the 3rd triple-double recorded in league background, becoming a member of Dartmouth’s Ian McGinnis (2001) and Brown’s Jason Forte (2004).
Paul Atkinson experienced 16 details and nine rebounds for Yale (19-six, 7-two). Eric Monroe extra 15 details and seven assists, and Azar Swain experienced twelve details and 6 rebounds.
Terrance McBride scored a profession-high 27 details – 17 in the two overtimes – for the Significant Red (5-17, two-7), who have now dropped 4 consecutive games. Greg Dolan extra 14 details, and Bryan Knapp experienced thirteen.
