Jeff Horn’s coach Glenn Rushton has hit again at brutal criticism of his refusal to place a halt to his fighter’s brutal defeat down at the palms of Tim Tszyu in Wednesday night’s blockbuster bout.
Horn had been battered all over the fight – knocked down in the third spherical and tumbling to the canvas 2 times much more – and when he staggered again to his corner right after the eighth spherical, most viewers could see the fight should really have been ended right away.
But Rushton was unwilling to contact the fight, asking the 32-calendar year-outdated: “Have you acquired a punch still left in you or not? Give us a minute …”
Finally, cornerman Adam Copland went about Rushton’s head, telling referee Phil Austin to contact off the fight.
